That’s right. 3 years. That’s what happens when you go for a year with your lovely family in Baja California and you start becoming friend with a very respectable Mexican family man who happens to be a drug lord. The photographs below come from a session I shot for Vancouver Magazine about the terrible story of Pavel Kulisek who spent 3 years in a Mexican jail before his wife and some diplomat eventually managed to get him out as he had committed absolutely no crime, except being the in wrong place at the wrong time. Alright alright. A bit too long without a post.. But the last couple of weeks have been pretty intense. I went to LA for 12 days, a shoot and 15 meetings with advertising agencies and magazines in the middle. The response has been incredible, I met more creatives there in 12 days than in Vancouver in 6 months (no offence there).
